I think $20 an hour is to low...By the time you factor in a decent wage to keep the workers happy, liability and workers comp insurance, there won't be much of anything left for you... I bill a minimum of $25 an hour for light cleaning to as much as $45 an hour for heavy cleaning...I'm in Florida where wages are notoriously low and I don't have a problem getting these rates..If you provide a quality service you shouldn't either..

I have a bid on a large condo complex. It will keep 6 guys working 40 hrs per week each. I am thinking I can bid $20.00 per man hour and that should cover my labor costs and insurance. If it seems high int becuase I'm in California.
Your thoughts anyone? Any advise is appreciated as this is the largest bid to date.
Thanks
